Wigs provide comfort of having thick and stylish hair in times when you experience plain bad hair day. Many women use wigs to sport different hairstyles every day. If youíre one of them, you need to know the right ways to style your synthetic hair.

Whether you own renowned wigs such as Vivica Fox wigs, Estetica wigs, or Sepia wigs to name a few, you still need to keep in mind the styling tips to prolong the life of your wigs. Like your own natural hair, wigs require an amount of care in styling. Frequent styling without appropriate care will make your wig look unnatural.

Wigs are made with natural or synthetic hairs, which make them prone to deterioration without proper care and attention. Although synthetic wigs are more manageable than human hair, it doesnít mean that you donít need to take precautionary measures in styling.

Washing: Vivica Fox wigs, Estetica wigs, Sepia wigs and other fine quality wigs need to be washed when odors are present and textures become dull. The first thing that you need to remember is to never wash your wigs with hot water. Use a shampoo specially made for synthetic hair. Remember to wash the wigs thoroughly after. Dry your wigs with a towel and avoid squeezing it.

Untangling your wig strands: If you own wigs with manageable strands, then you donít need to go through the job of untangling them one by one. Untangling wig strands sometimes require that you do them with your fingers and use a comb after. When you have wigs such as Vivica Fox wigs, Estetica wigs, or Sepia wigs to name a few, it is always best that you own a good comb. Wig manufacturers recommend that you use wire combs that are made especially for wigs.

Styling: Most human hair made wigs such as Estetica wigs, Sepia wigs, and Vivica Fox wigs can be styled using heated styling devices. However, wig manufacturers advise that you use these tools on lower heat to avoid overheating your wig strands. On the other hand, synthetic wigs canít be styled with flat irons and blow dryers as it will melt the strands. It is always best that you use a wig spray to style synthetic wigs. Also remember that synthetic wigs canít be dyed compared to human hair wigs.
